POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Commercial Service Technician who will service, diagnose, repair, and maintain various commercial HVAC systems and their associated equipment. Also, perform accurate and timely diagnostics of mechanical, electronic, and refrigeration system components.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Operates various testing instruments
- Reads schematic and wiring diagrams
- Wires, vacuums, troubleshoots, commissions, and reads plans
- Properly performs soldering & brazing of piping and components
- Properly handles and transfers refrigerants, per EPA requirement
- Maintain and operate a service vehicle
- On-call and weekend work as required
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Trade school certificate or apprenticeship program is a plus
- Valid TX Driver’s License
- EPA certificate
- OSHA 10 or ability to complete it within 60 days
- 3+ years of related experience
- Able to regularly lift 75 pounds
- Knowledge of unitary equipment, RTU’s and VAV’s
- Great customer service skills and neat appearance
- Works well in a team environment
