Position: HVAC Service Technician

Pay: $35/hour - $45/hour

Location: Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities:

Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration units, chillers, and boilers.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, developing effective solutions to resolve them.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate safely and efficiently, including tasks such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating motors.
Install and program thermostats and other HVAC control systems.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.
Communicate with customers to explain the work being performed, answer questions, and provide guidance on HVAC system operation and maintenance.
Stay current with the latest technologies and industry developments related to HVAC systems.Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree or certification in HVAC or a related field is preferred.
Over 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including their design, operation, and components.
Knowledge of refrigeration systems and their operation.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
