Residential HVAC Service Manager

Are you an experienced HVAC professional ready to take on a new challenge? Our company, a leader in commercial HVAC services, is expanding into residential services and seeking a Residential HVAC Service Manager to lead this exciting new division.

About Us:

We are a well-established HVAC company with extensive experience serving downtown Chicago high-rises and high-end condominiums. As we expand into the residential market, we are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to help lead and grow our new residential division.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and oversee the operations of our new residential HVAC service department
Lead, mentor, and support a team of service technicians
Develop processes, systems, and protocols for residential service
Ensure timely and efficient scheduling of service jobs, with a focus on high-end residences
Maintain strong customer relationships and address service concerns promptly
Coordinate with the installation team to meet project timelines and quality standards
Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations
Manage inventory, equipment, and parts ordering for the department
Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot complex HVAC service issues
Drive continuous improvement of service processes and efficiency

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of residential HVAC experience
Previous leadership or management experience in HVAC is highly preferred
Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, service, and repairs
Experience working in high-end residential properties, such as luxury condos or urban high-rises, is a plus
Experience in launching or growing a service department is a plus
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
