The Digital Content Publishing Team ensures quality on-time delivery of online content to support Schwab's strategic priorities. We are responsible for maintaining brand identity and user experience while protecting site availability and function. We offer centralized web content publishing, providing a cost-effective, efficient service that is easy to use. We consult, advise, and build content within our Drupal platform based on best-practices for developing innovative solutions, and share accountability in providing our clients the best possible online experience.
As a Digital Content Manager, you will assist the team in building content within our Drupal platform delivering a high-quality web experience, providing value and delight to our clients as well as our business partners. This position ensures that content is consistent, understandable, accessible and that it maintains company standards. Work collaboratively with others in cross departmental projects and initiatives. Assess and resolve escalated, client-impacting, production issues at a moment's notice.

A strong Digital Content Manager will have experience with "front-end” concepts (how the site looks) and “back-end” systems” (how it works). Specific job duties and tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Build, edit and publish content for all Schwab web properties
- Work with business partners to ensure content structure, content, easy accessibility meets our style guidelines to be published to a wide audience and keeps it meaningful to a specific target audience
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of content, self and peer quality assurance, validating appropriateness of content and of content presentation. Problem solve and communicate effectively when standards of web content are not in line with standards
- Work in staging environment and a set workflow to get business approval before publishing and aligning with specific publish dates. Ensure consistent usage of key vernacular, correct formatting, and other communication standards
- Assist with the design and construction of web pages on updates, new pages, and sites, including graphical design, navigational design, and page layout
- Participate in interdepartmental workgroups and activities as appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years' experience in a web publishing environment
- Working knowledge of content management systems
- Working knowledge of internet and web technology, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of client-side code quality as it relates to semantic web, accessibility, and SEO
- Familiarity with user-centered design, mobile/responsive design, and use of videos on the web
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Drupal
- Experience within Agile development environment
