Average Solar consultants will earn over $100,000/ year with top earners making $200,000 +. Your success will be determined by your ability to learn the technology, prospect and keep organized to follow up with potential customers, while pursuing a passionate, persistent and resilient approach to your career.
Our pay structure is set up so you can start earning from day one, not having to wait months for projects to be installed, unlike other solar companies. This is a 100% commission position with 100% uncapped commissions and bonuses paid for high performance. Your earning potential is unlimited and we intend to grow leaders to be promoted from within.
Summary:
Astrawatt's solar consultants are very different from any other solar company’s sales team. We expect our consultants to become experts in understanding solar technology and have a very high level of comfort making educated recommendations. We take a lot of pride in being educational, consultative, and low pressure to allow for our customers to make the best decision for their family in regards to solar, storage, and EV chargers. This is a home based position but there is local travel required.
Your duties will consist of:
- Learn solar technology and become proficient with our proposal software.
- Prospect to schedule appointments and follow up with prospects to win their business.
- When meeting with a homeowner it’s essential to ask the right questions and thoughtfully discuss the presentation materials in order to work up educated proposals to meet the needs and goals of the homeowners.
- Move homeowners from prospects to customers by recommending competitive bids and initiating financing applications.
- Prospect to consistently earn referrals and new business.
- Set and achieve sales targets.
- Provide superior customer service to move customers to advocates in order to obtain referrals.
Desired Skills, attributes, and Qualifications:
