Summary Job Description: We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated, customer oriented, and mechanical individual. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers’ equipment is functioning properly and educating them on the use and care of their equipment. Your ability to diagnose, repair, and communicate effectively will contribute to the success of our service department and our customers’ operations. Objectives and Responsibilities include the following:
- Perform service repairs on Henny Penny and other equipment lines sold by the company;
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions;
- Troubleshoot with customers over the phone;
- Ensure good customer service, maintain relationships with customers, and enhance the company’s image through quality work and communication.
- Manage and maintain company property, including service vehicle and parts inventory.
Required Knowledge, Skill, and Other Abilities:
- Strong mechanical skills;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Familiarity with and ability to use mobile device tools and applications.
- Clean driving record.
Preferred Additional Knowledge/Experience: Relevant experience as a service technician, with knowledge of food service equipment repair a plus.
Compensation and Benefits: Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) along with medical and dental insurance, health savings account, life & disability insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) plan.
Education: High school or equivalent.
Schedule: Regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday with rotating weekend on-call.
Work Location: Our office is located in New Brighton, MN, but you will be working a customer locations throughout the greater Twin Cities area.
