Job Description:
- Receives products into the computer system and stores them in a timely manner.
- Maintains accurate, clean, and orderly warehouse and store show room.
- Inspects products of shortages, damages and prepares appropriate documentation.
- Prepares, packs, and stages products for inter-store transfer and customer pick-up and delivery in accordance with established standards (e.g. hazardous materials). Ensures that packaging is sufficient to avoid damage.
- Processes documentation necessary to ship inter-store transfers and customer orders.
- Loads delivery vehicles and assists customers with will call pickups.
- Operates hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment safely and in accordance with organizational procedures.
- Load vehicles and coordinate with Branch Manager on efficient and priority deliveries for each day
- Deliver materials safely to customers and unloads to customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Experience driving a forklift preferred
- Experience with computer preferred
- Clean driving record and Valid Driver’s License
- Able to obtain DOT Health certification and Class E license

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, carry, and load up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day; balance on ladders, portable stairs and like equipment; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; and reach, push, pull and manipulate. The employee is also frequently required to lift in excess of 100 pounds with mechanical assistance or the assistance of coworkers.
Work Environment: Most work is performed in a warehouse environment without air conditioning, which may include hot and cold temperatures, dust, dirt, and noise.
Candidate must be a self starter and able to work without a lot of direction.
Must be available to work 7am-5pm and Saturdays from 8am to Noon. Typical shift is 8:00 or 8:30 to 5pm and at least every other Saturday. Overtime during our peak summer months will be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
