As we continue to expand our operations, we're seeking a dynamic HVAC Service Manager with experience in both service operations and sales to join our team!
Position Overview:
The HVAC Service Manager will play a pivotal role in leading our HVAC service department while also driving sales and revenue growth through service contracts, maintenance agreements, and equipment sales. This position requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components, as well as proven sales skills and leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Service Technicians, Sales Management, Comfort Advisors, Dispatch, Install Coordinators, overseeing Service Operations, and developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HVAC service department, including service technicians, dispatchers, and administrative staff.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth through service contracts, maintenance agreements, and equipment sales.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop comprehensive sales proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, profit margins, and customer satisfaction, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of service calls to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Provide technical support and guidance to service technicians, including troubleshooting complex issues and recommending solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Report to the General Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service operations, with a proven track record of success in HVAC service sales.
- EPA certified and strong focus on continued education highly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and components.
- Demonstrated sales skills with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and HVAC service management software Service Titan.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
