Suncoast Power LLC. is looking for a Foreman level electrician to join our team. The Applicant will be responsible for installations including managing a team to complete tasks designated by the General Superintendent and other Project Management team members. The Applicant must have reliable transportation to and from various job sites within Tampa and the surrounding areas.
Duties:
- Installing electrical systems and components on Commercial new construction projects in accordance with NEC and local codes.
- Manage team of JW's and apprentices to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Preform tasks with the highest quality of craftsmanship that exceeds the customers expectations.
- Must read, interpret, and understand electrical drawings.
- Proficiently operate machinery/equipment including compact excavators, trenchers, general construction equipment and tools, conduit benders, basic battery operated tools, etc.
Electrical Qualifications
- Proven commercial electrical experience is a must.
- 5+ years experience as a Foreman managing a crew of 5+ electricians.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
Personal Qualifications
- Must show proof or have the ability to obtain OSHA 30 Certification.
- Hight School diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work outside in the Florida environment.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods of time.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to various job sites.
- Ability to follow all verbal and written instructions in English.
- Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in the English language. Bi-lingual is a plus.
