Service Electrician
As a Service Electrician at ONYX Electric, you’ll independently manage residential electrical projects across Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco counties, from initial client consultation to final inspection. Key Responsibilities:
- Professional Client Communication: Engage with clients respectfully and professionally, offering clear explanations and optimal solutions for their electrical needs.
- Comprehensive Project Management: Handle each project from sales to inspection, ensuring all work is NEC-compliant and completed safely. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Diagnostic & Repair Expertise: We conduct inspections, diagnostics, installations, repairs, and upgrades for various electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and panel upgrades.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Supervise and mentor apprentices, fostering a learning and safety culture.
- Documentation & Reporting: Use scheduling and tracking software to log job notes, update project status, and maintain transparent communication on project progress.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of residential electrical experience with a focus on service work
- Clean driving record, background check, and ability to pass a drug screening
- Strong communication skills with familiarity with sales and job-tracking software
- NEC code knowledge and dedication to safety and compliance
