Atlantic in Home Care, LLC is a leading provider of high-quality in-home care services, dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients and their families. We are currently seeking an experienced Home Care Recruiter and Scheduler to join our team. In addition to recruiting and scheduling caregivers, this position will also involve assisting with general tasks once the primary responsibilities are completed. This role requires a multitasker who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure smooth operations and exceptional client care.
Responsibilities:
-Identify, recruit, and interview potential caregivers to join our team, ensuring a high standard of professionalism, compassion, and skill.
-Conduct thorough background checks, reference checks, and credential verifications for all potential caregivers.
-Collaborate with the management team to establish and maintain an effective recruitment strategy, ensuring a consistent pool of qualified candidates.
-Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, community organizations, and job fairs to source potential caregivers.
-Coordinate and schedule caregiver assignments based on client needs, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date caregiver and client records, including availability, skills, and certifications.
-Monitor and manage caregiver schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage for all client shifts and adjusting as necessary.
-Communicate regularly with caregivers and clients to address any scheduling changes, concerns, or issues.
-Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in home care recruitment and scheduling.
-Assist with general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, organizing documents, and answering phone calls.
-Support other team members in day-to-day operations, including filling in for absent caregivers if necessary.
Qualifications:
Language Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication skills to work with management, customers, employees, vendors, peers, Florida state departments and insurance company contacts. (Spanish and or Creole preferred)
-Minimum of 1 year of experience in home care recruitment and scheduling.
-Strong knowledge of home care industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
-Proven track record in recruiting and retaining qualified caregivers.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with diverse individuals.
-Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
-Proficient in using scheduling software and other relevant tools.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
-Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
