Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled International Recruiter to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will specialize in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding international employees on H2B and J1 visas. This position will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and securing top global talent to meet the staffing needs of our organization.
The International Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing international candidates to assisting with visa application processes, onboarding, and ensuring compliance with all relevant immigration laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified international candidates for various roles.
- Utilize job boards, social media, international job fairs, and recruitment agencies to source candidates.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage relationships with global recruitment partners and agencies.
- Guide and assist candidates through the H2B and J1 visa application processes.
- Collaborate with legal and immigration consultants to ensure compliance with all visa and work permit regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of visa regulations and ensure candidates meet all requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient onboarding for international hires.
- Prepare and explain employment contracts, company policies, and immigration documentation to new hires.
- Assist with travel arrangements, relocation, and cultural adaptation for international employees.
- Work closely with department heads, HR teams, and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Provide regular updates on recruitment progress, including challenges and successes, to management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on international recruitment, H2B, and J1 visas.
- Knowledge of US immigration laws and visa application processes (H2B, J1, and other work permits).
- Strong understanding of international recruiting strategies and immigration policies.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in recruiting for specific industries, such as hospitality, agriculture, or seasonal work.
- Multilingual abilities and cross-cultural experience are a plus.
