Apprentice Electrician
Job Summary
Our team at LWE seeks 2nd year through 4th year Apprentice Electrician to learn under the supervision of a

Work Schedule: 4 - 10 work schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Depending upon assignment, duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist a Journeyman Electrician and follow instructions
- Prepare and clean work areas
- Carry and deliver materials
- Install, maintain, and repair various electrical systems and equipment
- Follow safety codes and building regulations
- Communicates effectively orally, in writing, and electronically
- Read and work from blueprints, technical manuals, charts, and schematics.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on completed assignments
- Performs any other related duties as assigned
- Establish and maintain cooperative work relationships.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Utah Apprentice License
- Minimum of one year experience preferred.
- Completion of or enrollment in electrical training program mandatory
- Able to diagnose problems using electronic test equipment (3rd and 4th Year Apprentices)
- Eagerness to learn electrical schematics and blueprints
- Completion of 10-hour OSHA training upon hire.
- Demonstrate knowledge of methods, materials, tools, safety practices and equipment in the electrical trade.

- Strong troubleshooting abilities (3rd and 4th Year Apprentices)
- Good time management and strong work ethic
- Problem solving and critical thinking
Working Conditions:
- Indoor and outdoor construction sites. Outdoor sites often exposed to weather conditions.
- Hazardous conditions
Physical Abilities:
- Hearing and speaking to effectively exchange information
- Sit, stand, and walk for extended time periods
- Lift moderate to heavy objects (50lbs)
- Ability to remain on feet all day
- Ability to work at heights on scissor lifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
