Sigma Companies is currently working towards bringing on additional service electricians to service the Las Vegas Valley as well as Arizona. We are only seeking out trained service electricians with commercial and residential experience who reside in the Las Vegas and Henderson area. The service tech is the first facial interaction for new residential customers and business owners. Top tier experienced and knowledgeable qualified professionals are desired to fill this role. Service electricians need to have a strong background in electrical as well as personable skills when interacting with customers. A qualified applicant must have experience working independently as well as in a team environment. We will not bring on electricians who do not have a background in troubleshooting, problem solving, and leadership. Applicants must also have experience with working via mobile devices for time sheets, estimating, and ordering of materials. Documentation of work being performed is a requirement for any project we are on. We offer top hourly rates in the industry for those that come with this strong background. Applicants must be knowledgeable of N.E.C. and local AHJ code requirements. Service techs often oversee the project from the first lead generation to the collection of payments, mindful consideration of material orders, and job site preparation is required to be a qualified service tech. Electricians with knowledge of what a job entails and what issues that can be foreseen are recommended for this role.
Minimum 4 years of prior professional-level residential and commercial electrical experience
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Own your own hand tools
Reside within a 20-mile radius of our service area
Complex troubleshooting is often involved, experience in commercial and residential electrical is required
Competency in NEC and local AHJ requirements with execution of your work to these standards
Low Voltage wiring and termination experience needed
Willingness to work overtime and address emergency calls
Professional in your work and daily interactions
You are comfortable with using technology, and documentation of your work
You always looking to sharpen your skills
Responsibilities
Our customers look to your expertise to help solve their issues and build confidence that their home or business repairs are done to the industry standard
You will help customers with any electrical repair, and offer alternative suggestions for future repairs including pricing
You will need to have knowledge of materials and what applications you would utilize them
Work comes in a wide array of environments, adaptability is a requirement
Bidding will be thorough. Line-item pricing, multiple options, and detailed descriptions of what the work consists of. (Proposal and Exclusions)
You ensure the safety of both yourself and the people you serve, leaving their homes safer than when you first walked in
You'll identify liabilities before working on them and propose code compliant repairs
You`ll work safely and effectively, with consideration to the cleanliness of the work environment while preventing unnecessary damages to the structure or customers belongings.
