Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical installations, renovations, and maintenance in and around manufacturing, and Industrial type projects. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems are safe, functional, and compliant with local codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with blueprints and schematics.
- Work on construction sites to build and renovate electrical systems for new projects.
- Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Perform low voltage installations as required for various applications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working on-site.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
Skills
- Proficient in working with logic controllers and understanding their applications in electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of frame carpentry principles as they relate to electrical installations.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately to execute tasks effectively.
- Experience as a commercial electrician is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Pay: $40.00 - $82.00 per hour
