A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DISPATCHER
As a Dispatcher at Airtron Heating and Air Conditioning, your primary responsibilities include scheduling and dispatching field service employees to customer homes, coordinating with customer service representatives and management, and performing various administrative duties.
In this dispatch role, your day begins with reviewing service requests and ensuring the efficient allocation of our skilled technicians. You will handle incoming calls, set appointments, and keep our scheduling system updated. Effective communication is essential as you keep customers informed about service timelines and address their concerns, playing a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience working in an office setting with a minimum of 20% of daily duties assisting customers over the phone
- General computer competency, including at least one year of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work overtime with little notice (occasional weekend hours may be required)
