Job Summary
The HVAC Lead Installer is responsible for servicing and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and installing (HVAC) units. Technicians must be qualified to perform system cleaning, adjustment, and repair of HVAC units including furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, UV lights, air cleaners, and humidifiers. Technicians will be responsible for performing maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs of the air quality systems from installation to end-of-life.
Duties
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Clean driving record.
- EPA Certification.
- General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems.
- 3 Years of HVAC Installation/service experience minimum.
- Understand and apply all relevant building and safety codes.
- Install HVAC systems following design plans and manufacturer instructions
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as needed
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot HVAC systems
- Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems
- Drive company van to service locations as required
