Locally owned HVAC company in search of knowledgeable technician. The position involves service, installation and preventative maintenance, in and around the Brentwood, Franklin and Nashville Area. This is a full time position.
Responsibilities include
- Inspect and perform service and repair on equipment.
- Install new heating and air conditioning systems.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Respond to emergency service requests.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch.
- Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls, including thermostats, automatic switches, fan controls, rescue motors..etc
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the HVAC field
- Ability to read and follow HVAC wiring diagrams
- Physical requirements: Climb and descend ladders while carrying up to 30lbs. Lift up to 75lbs. Maneuver in confined spaces, crawl spaces, attics...etc
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent work ethic
- Valid Driver's License
- EPA Universal Certification
- Strong Customer Service skills
This position will report directly to the service manager. Pay will be offered based on experience and qualifications. Training will be provided. Laptop and service vehicle provided. Partial Health Insurance offered.
Overtime availability. Flexibility to work overtime, on call and weekends as required.
