Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: HVAC System installation and maintenance, ductwork installation and modifications, vent hood installation, gas piping, managing subconctrators, insulation installation and inspection, communication with homeowners and general contractors, occasional rough in plumbing, geothermal piping and many other forms of mechanical projects in high end custom homes.
As a helper, your job is to help an install crew accomplish tasks in a safe and efficient manner. We are looking for hard workers, who are confident enough to complete new tasks, and humble enough to learn how to do things the right way.
Following are specific characteristics we are seeking in these candidates:
- One year of experience in residential construction labor, preferably with HVAC or ductwork installation experience
- Driver’s license issued in the United States combined with a clean driving record
- Able to provide your own hand tools for working with materials
- Strong communication skills allowing you to engage with the office and our clients
- Effective organizational skills to allow tracking of time, materials, vehicle stock, and equipment information
- One who works well as an individual, but also works well among a team, to serve the client
