Networks Connect Professional Staffing is conducting a search on behalf of our client, a family-owned manufacturer’s representative in the mechanical and commercial HVAC space, generating over $50 million in revenue. They are looking for a highly experienced HVAC Technician to bring their wealth of knowledge into a new role. Key Responsibilities:
- Visit site installations within a 250-mile radius (all of Colorado and most of Wyoming) to ensure products and equipment are installed according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Monitor safety and security procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions.
- Configure, calibrate, and provide warranty service on various equipment, including leading educational sessions for owners and operators.
- Test and troubleshoot issues related to steam and hot water heating systems, pumps, and other products.
- Complete field reports, manufacturer documentation, and other required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Assist the service manager with additional tasks as needed.
- Attend out-of-town factory training and participate in self-paced and on-the-job training.
Qualifications:
- Degree in HVACR or similar field, with 7-10 years of commercial field experience preferred.
- Demonstrated field experience will also be considered.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn as industry standards evolve.
- Experience with pumps, boilers, steam, water heaters, schematics, and BAS controls.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot both equipment and system issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to resolve customer complaints and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Must be a team player but also capable of working independently.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass government background checks and random drug testing.
- Physical ability to lift 75 lbs. and move 100 lbs. or more with assistance.
- Flexibility with daily start times based on job requirements, typically starting at 8 AM.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays for emergency services.
