Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the resort and restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Collaborate with department heads, including the Front of House Supervisor, chefs, and other managers, to maintain service standards and operational excellence.
- Monitor and manage inventory, including bar and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Guest Experience:
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, addressing guest complaints and resolving issues promptly.
- Foster a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Implement and uphold service standards to enhance guest satisfaction.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff.
- Ensure staff adherence to company policies and procedures.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and performance goals.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement strategies to maximize revenue and control costs.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve business goals.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies.
- Oversee social media presence and online reputation management.
- Organize and promote special events and activities to attract and retain guests.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in full-service restaurant and resort management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in email, Excel/Word, Google Docs, and hospitality management software.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
