Overview:
We want to hire a detail-oriented Plumbing Service Technician to maintain and repair our residential and commercial customers' plumbing. You will diagnose problems, explain these to customers in clear, non-technical terms, relay costs to customers, and offer alternative solutions. You will order and collect parts once the customer gives approval and communicate with your supervisor regarding challenges.
To ensure success, your customer skills should be as good as your technical aptitude, and you need to be well-versed in safety precautions. Top candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and friendly.
Responsibilities:
- Installing fixtures and appliances, Such as bathtubs, toilets, and water heaters
- Maintaining plumbing components, such as toilets, urinals, faucets, hose bibs, and drains
- Repairing pipes and fixtures, including broken water lines, sewer lines, and drains
- Following regulations: To ensure that systems pass inspection for the first time
- Keeping records of time spent on a job and materials purchased for the work
- Write reports on jobs completed with details and parts used.
- Well-versed in identifying problems, diagnosing the cause of the problem, and providing solutions.
- Effective and professional communication is a crucial aspect of the role. Explain complicated ideas and processes in ways that people will understand and discuss expected timelines and costs.
- May also perform minor repairs on HVAC units
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or other related field
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work quickly, complete tasks efficiently and safely, and work independently and collaboratively. They also need to be physically strong, able to push, lift, and pull up to 100 pounds, climb stairs, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods, fine motor skills to work with small tools and parts.
- HVAC experience a plus

Pay: $13.00 - $30.00 per hour
