JOB SUMMARY:
HVAC Service Technician is responsible for providing expert solutions to our residential customers. This role is critical to the success of Evolved Mechanical and someone who we support with education, training and work-life balance. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert solutions for residential & light commercial clients
- Independently diagnose, repair, replace and trouble-shoot existing HVAC equipment
- Perform seasonal precision tune ups
- Sell preventative maintenance program to potential and existing customers
- Clearly explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or under-performing systems to customers
- Proactively communicate potential sales opportunities to Sale Department
- Troubleshoot Splits, RTU, Ductless Systems, Heat Pumps, Controls, Pumps, Exhausts, Compressors
- Effectively and Professionally communicate with customers
- Support Installation Team as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck
- Participate actively in all training and ongoing education
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- HVAC skill set
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and controls
- Ability to read commercial wiring schematics
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and use power and hand tools
- Ability to operate dispatch and field service software on smartphone or tablet
- Must be highly mechanically inclined
- Must have passion for exceptional service
- Able to work independently
- Able to communicate effectively, and be professional with customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills, friendly, and clean-cut
EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience in an HVAC role strongly preferred.
EPA certification required.
Experience with an invoicing system such as Payzerware strongly preferred.
