Basic Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- (1-2) year of similar work experience
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment and furniture for office events.
- Perform daily inspections to ensure all spaces are clean, organized, and presentable.
- Manage and restock office supplies, ensuring everything is available when needed.
- Organize storage spaces and maintain inventory records, coordinating with procurement for reordering supplies.
- Troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, addressing any complaints or issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and participate in safety drills.
- Collaborate on special facilities projects as directed by the Facilities Manager.
- Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met consistently.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a tech or office environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with computer software, including inventory management and office tools.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
Events
- Under the direction of the (ABM Account Manager and/or ABM Studio Coordinator) and/or (Client's Events/Studio Manager):
o Provide facility support for events and meetings, including physical movement of furniture, equipment, boxes and materials as needed. Conference room set-ups, desk relocations, and changes to set-ups around the office.
o Work closely and assist ABM Studio Coordinator to plan and execute events workload.
