- This role is heavily focused on having a painting skillset and background.
- CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Organize and prioritize projects as assigned and complete all jobs received via the dispatch process.
- Report any variances to Manager
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Oversee and assist with the completion of all work performed by Engineers
- Receive materials that have been ordered from the warehouse and loading dock
- Initiate requisitions and orders for materials and equipment, utilizing purchase order system
- Ensure all policies related to safeguarding and storage of company assets are adhered to and
- Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention
- Respond to hotel emergency calls, assist in expediting repairs to ensure guest and employee
- Establish and maintain effective working relationship with all departments
- Ensure all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat and orderly at all times
- Maintain knowledge of materials used by various technical trades in the department
- Assist with training and onboarding of new associates within the department
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. with assistance
- Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers
- Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
