Position Summary:
Expo Home Improvement is seeking a skilled and dedicated Texas Certified Plumber to join our Production Team! Our company is known for delivering high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective bath and shower renovations across Texas. As a Texas Certified Plumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our projects, contributing to our reputation for outstanding value and customer satisfaction. Rotational Schedule:
- Week 1: Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday/Monday off)
- Week 2: Monday-Friday (with Saturday overtime if needed)
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
Responsibilities:
- Tub to shower conversion
- Walk-In Tubs
- Setting pans, shower valves, and vanity faucets
- Assemble and install plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing
- Review job specs and building codes to determine optimal work procedures
- Make jobs ready for inspection with required testing
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous residential experience in bathroom and kitchen plumbing projects
- Years of experience working in a home remodeling environment in a similar role
- Extreme time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality, with a patient and calming manner
Requirements:
- Tradesman, Journeyman, or Master plumber (no RMP needed)
- Must have current and active plumbing license or certification issued with the state of Texas
- Must have personal hand tools
- Be flexible to work overtime when needed and be on call for weekend service calls
- Dispatched from the house (take home assigned work truck)
- Clean driving record and background check
Physical Demands:
While performing duties of the job, the employee is occasionally required to move around, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
