Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Electrician to join our team. The Service Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires troubleshooting skills, a thorough understanding of electrical codes, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals to perform work accurately.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, new products, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program is required.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a service electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials as needed.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.29 - $31.67 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
