Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager / Project Manager to lead our HVAC company, which specializes in commercial installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the HVAC industry, particularly in managing commercial projects, and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations. This includes ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the company, aligning with our mission and goals.
- Oversee daily operations, including project management, service delivery, and administrative functions.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and high-quality standards.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base and market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, vendors, and partners to enhance business growth.
- Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and bids for potential projects.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and profitability is maximized.
- Monitor financial performance, analyzing results and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee billing, collections, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Project Management:
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
- Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure staff development and satisfaction.
- Promote a safe and positive work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Customer Focus:
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered in every interaction, building long-lasting client relationships.
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
- Gather client feedback to continuously improve our services and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the HVAC industry, particularly in commercial installations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing operations, budgets, and projects.
- Strong business acumen with experience in business development and strategic planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, commercial installation processes, and industry standards.
Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience, plus performance-based incentives and benefits.

Pay: $83,203.00 - $90,949.00 per year
