Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting more experienced electricians with the installation
Repairs and maintenance of electrical components
Wiring and electrical equipment in all machinery and facilities
Utilizes tools and testing equipment to complete electrical work
A significant portion of this role is to learn the trade from more experienced coworkers.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds.
Highly motivated, self-directed individual.
Knowledge of safety policies and procedures is required (e.g. lock out / tag out, electrical safety)
Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes and propose and implement solutions to support production operations.
Ability to troubleshoot and re-wire high speed and/or highly automated equipment such as AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and PLC I/O modules preferred.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Ability to work off shifts (evenings and overnights) and overtime as necessary. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates
Knowledge of grounded delta electrical environment preferred.
