Job Overview:
As the General Manager of our family entertainment center, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the center's operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving the overall success of the facility. Your leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise will contribute to creating a vibrant and memorable environment for visitors. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications required for the position.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
- Oversee all daily operations of Pins & Wheels, including attractions, dining, guest services, maintenance, and events.
- Set operational goals and objectives aligned with the center's mission and vision.
2. Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise department managers and staff across various functions.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
3. Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimizing resource allocation
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
4. Guest Experience:
- Maintain a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring high-quality services, attractions, and customer interactions.
- Address guest feedback, concerns, and suggestions to continuously improve offerings.
5. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to enhance the center's market position, growth, and sustainability.
- Identify new opportunities for expansion, innovation, and revenue generation.
6. Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies.
- Ensure the center's online and offline presence effectively reaches target audiences.
7. Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures.
8. Vendor and Supplier Relationships:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize service quality and costs.
9. Guest and Community Relations:
- Act as the face of the center, engaging with guests, community members, and stakeholders.
- Participate in community events and initiatives to enhance the center's visibility.
10. Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on operational performance, financial results, and guest feedback.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role, preferably in entertainment, hospitality, or related industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of successful operational planning and execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
- Financial acumen and proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to address challenges effectively.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the family entertainment center.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred.
