We are currently seeking candidates for an Industrial Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and provide technical support to our multiple quarry locations in the St. Louis, MO region. Responsibility Priorities:
- First responsibility: Immediately support operations during unscheduled electrical downtime
- Secondary responsibilities: Work on electrical projects assigned by operations manager
General Electrician tasks include, but not limited to:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain malfunctioning electrical equipment that is commonly used to power crushers, screens, conveyors for aggregate processing
- Perform preventative electrical maintenance routines to help eliminate unscheduled electrical downtime
- Provide assistance for engineering projects as needed
Electrician requirements:
- 3 years of electrical experience in an industrial setting
- Understanding of 3 phase power distribution systems up to 13KV
- Able to work within NEC guidelines
- Experienced in motor control and variable frequency drives
- Preferred, but not required; Able to troubleshoot and fix complex PC/PLC based control systems and instrumentation
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to work some weekends and flexible schedules as required
