Hollybrook Golf & Tennis Club Condominium is a 55-plus community located in Pembroke Pines is seeking an immediate general laborer in the Buildings Maintenance Department. This is a full-time position 40 hours per week.
· Must be 18 years old
· Must have US work authorization
· Must have reliable transportation
· Must have basic trade skills
Essential Functions:
Miscellaneous repairs, preventive maintenance, pressure cleaning, painting, light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
Maintain all work area and equipment/storage room in clean organized manner.
Performs special projects delegated by management
Comply with the use of all safety equipment provided by the Club during working hours.
Other work as directed by Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Basic trade skills necessary. Driver’s license required
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written or verbal form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, and use hands and fingers to handle, or feel. The associate frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to sit; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
