Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise: Lead repair calls on advanced commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, showcasing your in-depth knowledge and skills.
- Customer Relations: Serve as the direct point of contact for customers, providing top-notch service and building long-term relationships.
- Innovative Solutions: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC systems, offering creative solutions to meet customer needs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs and installations meet MCI's high quality and safety standards.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Essential Functions:
- Perform start-up and commissioning of new commercial HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, site surveys, and replacement modifications, tailoring solutions to customer specifications.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours service, overtime, and on-call rotation work.
- Complete work orders, warranty claims, and other administrative tasks, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to provide comprehensive solutions and support business development.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and electricity.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of related commercial experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and skills, particularly related to HVAC systems & equipment.
- Safety awareness.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong knowledge of electricity and controls
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
