Job Title: General Manager, EMCOR Mechanical Services HVAC National Accounts
Job Summary: EMCOR Mechanical Services (EMS) has an immediate need for a General Manager, EMCOR Mechanical Services HVAC National Accounts located in Phoenix, AZ.
This assignment will be initially dedicated to standing up and developing the EMCOR Mechanical Services HVAC National Accounts Team. The team will directly support multi-site National Account customers that are dedicated to EMCOR Mechanical Services. This includes large Preventative Maintenance and Repair programs as well as the management and execution of HVAC Capital Replacement Programs. This team will be located in Tempe, Arizona. Initially, this leader will be responsible for developing the framework of the team structure, reporting, KPI’s, assisting with sales, transition of and ongoing account support. Account Managers will report to this leader as they are added to the growing team. The General Manager will also coordinate and work directly with the Operations Manager to support the dedicated Coordinators and Facilities Managers assigned to the team.
Travel:
- Necessary travel with the sales team for appropriate potential or existing customers
- Travel throughout each year to meet with EMCOR Operating Company offices and leadership
- Industry related tradeshows
- Other EMCOR national account team hubs (Norristown, PA. Downers Grove, IL. Norristown, PA. Washington, D.C.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist EMCOR leadership in creating and standing up the EMS HVAC national accounts team.
- Develop software skills to work in and across multiple EMCOR operating platforms.
- Successfully manage client relationships for HVAC national accounts
- Create and maintain strong relationships across EMCOR offices
- Quickly manage and resolve escalations that arise between different offices
- Assist in reviewing and potentially managing HVAC projects
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC national accounts
- Leading the recruiting, hiring and adding new Account Managers and critical team members
- Working directly with the HVAC Business Development group to validate new opportunities and assist with solutioning calls for new customers
- Understand HVAC Systems and Services are important to success in this role
Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, Advanced education or Master’s degree preferred.
- Five or more years of related Sales or Sales Leadership experience and/or National Account management in an organization selling and/or managing National Accounts
- Multi-site/account experience preferred
- Experience with Work Order Management Systems (CMMS) is required.
- HVAC / mechanical services / projects experience
- Experience with CRM tool and related reporting
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Requires use of MS Project, Word and Excel.
- Experience with Enterprise Software and CMMS required.
- Ability to Travel
