This is most commonly accomplished through the use of dehumidifiers, heaters, air conditioners, generators, distribution panels, etc.
Responsibilities: The HVAC Field Service Technician will provide field service support and consultation such as testing and troubleshooting of low and medium voltage systems; provide best technical solution to solve the customer issue; complete assigned jobs; maintain and repair equipment.
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Maintain and repair all equipment to ensure equipment is ready for rent
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Build positive relationships with customers and other employees
Requirements
- HVAC experience.
- Field service experience
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical electrical equipment
- Electrical schematic reading
- English literacy – Speak, Read and Write
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- CDL – preferred or will be required to obtain within 3 months
- Ability to travel when required and sometimes on a moment’s notice
- Must pass background check, drug test, and driving record check
