Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. This role involves working on various electrical projects in both commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and power tools to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Work on construction sites to install high voltage systems safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to renovate existing structures or build new ones as required.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problematic.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards to protect yourself and others on the job site.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial or industrial settings is essential.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in various electrical systems is preferred.
- Experience working on construction sites with high voltage systems is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- A valid Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification is required.

Pay: $28.46 - $45.75 per hour
