Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, particularly in commercial settings. This role involves working with both high and low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), and performing renovations and installations. The Commercial Electrician will be responsible for maintaining safety standards while delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Work with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local building codes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including frame carpentry professionals, during renovation projects.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or Industrial Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
