Who are we: RJH Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, since 1998, has been committed to providing reliable and efficient commercial service to the DC Metro area. Our teams are qualified, reliable, and experienced in commercial HVAC, refrigeration and restaurant equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
What a Commercial HVAC/R Technician does: RJH Commercial HVAC-R technicians work in a wide variety of commercial systems and environments in the DC Metro area including commercial kitchens, secure government buildings, scientific laboratories, research facilities and institutions. Each RJH technician operates independently with their own company-provided truck complete with high-end tools and equipment. Their independence and self-starting approach is balanced with immediate access to our managers and owner who all came up as HVAC-R technicians. Our team of highly experienced technicians regularly help each other with service questions as well as more everyday questions, such as where to park in the city and how to navigate the large buildings we service. Each technician is scheduled for a full-time workweek primarily in the day shift hours and is offered overtime as available.
You may be a great fit if you have:
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Candidates must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or the equivalent
- At least 4 years of experience in commercial HVAC work
- Candidate must be able to pass a standard employment background check for job site security purposes
- Journeymen-level HVAC license (preferred but not required)
- Successful completion of a vocational or technical college (preferred but not required)
