We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, and hire skilled kitchen staff to uphold high culinary standards.
- Train new hires on kitchen protocols and standards.
- Create and manage staff schedules for all shifts and adjust as needed.
- Ensure all recipes are followed precisely and distribute guidelines to maintain dish consistency.
- Oversee daily kitchen opening and closing procedures, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Supervise closing tasks, including equipment cleaning, storage, and kitchen security.
- Communicate clearly with staff in both English and Spanish, providing instructions and feedback.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role in a high-end restaurant.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and health and safety regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
