About the role
The Inside Sales team is the largest team within GetScale, and honestly, it’s the heartbeat of the company. Initially, you’ll be a part of a multi-week training course that has been proven to get you really good at sales really quickly. (Of course, the training is fully paid.) Even after the training period is over you will receive constant coaching and support. Yes, the majority of your day will be spent doing sales over the phone, but you shouldn’t apply for this job unless you enjoy talking to people anyway. This role is great for someone who is looking for the opportunity to grow and develop various valuable transferable skills. The most exciting part is doing this alongside some great people and with a burgeoning Austin-based start-up that from day 1 is completely invested in you.
An Average Day
- Expect to chat with 40 - 60 people a day. The nice thing is that they are all WARM LEADS. (No cold calling.)
- Of course, we have daily and monthly goals. Nothing outrageous. We just want to keep you on track.
- You will close warm sales in one call - asking questions, finding problems and providing solutions. Simple.
- Nothing is scripted. You will learn how to have free-flowing sales conversations. This allows you to be adaptable and sell anything.
- Teamwork! Becoming great at sales is not a solo endeavor. This is not a cut-throat sales environment. A team-oriented style work environment is deeply ingrained into our company culture.
- Work hours: Monday - Friday. 8:45am - 5:30pm Central Time.
- Hybrid work schedule. You’ll work in the office and you'll have the ability to work from home a few days each week.
About You
- Relatively new to sales. This sale is simple. It’s perfect for recent college graduates or someone who only has a year or 2 of sales experience.
- Coachable – we invest a lot of time and effort into training but it means nothing if you aren’t coachable.
- Not afraid to step outside of your comfort zone.
- A desire to develop sales skills (a passion for sales) - you will thrive here.
- Keen, sharp verbal and written communication skills.
- A love for healthy competition - being a natural go-getter is a must!
Compensation and Benefits
- Total on-track earnings (base salary + commission) = $44,000 - $60,000+/year
- Base salary = $20,800/year
- On-track commission = $23,200 - $39,200+/year
