We provide facility and preventative maintenance services to aviation, government, and commercial facilities throughout the United States and the Caribbean. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add an Experienced HVAC/R Technician to our dynamic team.
Scope of Work
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen refrigeration equipment in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R commercial equipment including walk-in freezers, coolers, ice machines, rack systems and other commercial refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC/R commercial equipment and perform necessary repairs or replacements of parts
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections of HVAC/R commercial equipment to ensure they operate at peak efficiency
- Respond to calls promptly and professionally, addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all HVAC/R work, including handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials
- Document all work performed, including parts used, repairs completed, and maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Provide recommendations to clients regarding HVAC/R equipment upgrades, replacements, or enhancements to improve efficiency and performance
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in HVAC/R commercial refrigerant equipment repair and maintenance
- Must have Massachusetts HVAC/R Technician License
- Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC/R commercial equipment such as walk-in freezers, coolers, and other commercial refrigerant equipment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
- Knowledge of environmental regulations related to HVAC/R systems and refrigerants (R-22, R-410A, R-134A)
Compensation: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour (Based on experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k
