Overview:
Reporting to the Creative Services Manager, the Marketing Copywriter will be responsible for crafting engaging copy that resonates with our audience and community across various platforms. They will collaborate with and support various departments to create compelling messaging assets that communicate our mission and purpose effectively to internal audiences, patients, partners, and the larger community.
Responsibilities:
- With the guidance of the Creative Services Manager, leads the copy, tone, and direction of work from concept to execution across a variety of creative disciplines.
- Develops and maintains a library of marketing copy assets aligned with Central Health's brand voice and messaging.
- Writes compelling copy for a variety of marketing materials, including flyers, advertisements, brochures, fact sheets, reports, website, and video scripts.
- Works with Communications team and advertising vendors to write and produce a variety of deliverables.
- Develops multiple ideas or concepts for Creative Services assignments and presents them to individuals or teams.
- Collaborates with team members to gather resources, interview subject matter experts, and research topics as needed per project.
- Collaborates with the rest of the Creative Services team to create highly engaging marketing collateral and content for Central Health websites.
- Assists in the creation of creative briefs for projects and traffic projects through the organization.
- Crafts copy for marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, fact sheets, reports, presentations, and posters.
- Promotes a culture of creative excellence by enhancing team communication.
- Creates presentation content and scripts to support internal and external communications.
- Assists in creating analytics reports for creative services and campaigns.
- Collaborates with graphic designers and other team members to ensure cohesive messaging across all communication channels.
- Works with Central Health’s advertising and translations services consultants.
- Edits and QA marketing collateral for accuracy and brand consistency.
- Maintains brand messaging elements and guidelines for the Central Health system.
- Traffics projects through the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Exceptional command of written communication and storytelling.
- Proficiency in crafting copy for both digital and print mediums.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies and principles.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems.
- Detail-oriented with excellent research and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field required.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 7 years full-time experience either in-house or in-agency in copywriting, preferably in healthcare, marketing, or related fields required.
- Experience with branding and marketing copywriting required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
