We are seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of company operations with a special focus on leadership and maintaining Patriot’s existing culture of excellence.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy:
- Company standard bearer - embody the vision, mission, and brand.
- In collaboration with PBSI, develop and drive quarterly and annual goals.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to field and office employees promoting growth and professional development.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day company operations, ensuring jobs are executed efficiently and within budgetary guidelines.
- Promote operational policies, procedures, and standards to enhance productivity and quality.
- Recruit, train, develop, supervise, and evaluate employees.
- Collaborate with PBSI to develop regionally focused marketing and lead generation campaigns.
Financial Management:
- Collaborate with PBSI to manage budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and make strategic decisions based on financial data to improve profitability.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, diversification, and expansion while minimizing financial risks.
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities for growth (acquisition or home service industry segments).
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with regional distributors.
- Lead business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and client relationship management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and market conditions to capitalize on growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating as a General Manager or similar executive role within the service industry (HVAC industry is a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
- Basic understanding of small business finance and performance metrics
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical ability
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Valid Driver's License is required
- Master Technician license
