People Source, We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Service Tech Electrician to join our team and provide expertise in the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of commercial & residential.
The ideal candidate Must have a Texas Journeyman’s Electrician license with a minimum of 2+ years experience as a licensed Journeyman Electrician in Texas.
Pay $34.00 - $40.00 Depending on Experience
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, and be on call when assigned
- Supervisory experience is a Plus
- Perform skilled work in the installation, troubleshooting and repair of Electric systems.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be on call when assigned.
- Neat, clean, organized and well stocked vans
- Efficient in layout and blueprints
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with local and national regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams to interpret blueprints for electrical layouts
- Perform wiring during new construction or renovation projects
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets high-quality standards
- Adhere to safety protocols on construction sites
Qualifications:
- Must have a Texas Journeyman’s license with a minimum of two years’ experience as a licensed Journeyman in Texas
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician, with a demonstrated track record of successfully completing electrical projects in commercial settings.
- Must be fluent in the English language
- Must meet service department “dress policy.
- Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as required and night shifts.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and rectify electrical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with team members, clients, and other tradespeople.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while meeting project deadlines.
