Job Summary
I am seeking a licensed journeyman electrician in the Austin area. I specialize in wastewater treatement, pump control, commercial underground, commercial buildings, RV parks, and swimming pools. This is a very small company and my wife and I are asking God to bring us the right candidate to help us glorify Him through this work that we are so passionate about. Pay will be weekly on friday with quarterly bonuses discussed after a 90 day onboaring period. Im sure there is a lot I am leaving out, but I am just putting this out there to see if anybody is looking to work with another member of the body of Christ. Responsibilities
- Install, maintian, and repair commericial, industrial, underground, and some residential electrical systems.
- Must be capable of turning projects out completely by reading and fully understand ing electrical plans.
- Utilize hand tools and electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other tradesmen on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical work.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
- Clean driving record and criminal background.
- Passion for the electrical industry.
- Ability to show that you can budget well and live sustainably on this salary.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment (voltmeters, ohmmeters).
- Familiarity with NEC standards and ability to read schematics effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects.
- Certification or licensing as required by local regulations is preferred.

Pay: $79,523.00 - $86,927.00 per year
