Our client is seeking a talented and energetic Mechanic Technician to support our lead site mechanics and ensure our manufacturing and warehouse equipment is always in top shape!
Assignment Type: Temporary / Contract
Work Hours: Rotational shifts (5 am-1:30 pm, 1 pm-9:30 pm, 9 pm-5:30 am)

Responsibilities:
Partner with existing mechanics on 2+ personnel jobs to handle, rebuild, and maintain large machinery.
Diagnose and fix machine issues using detailed task lists.
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and routes.
Maintain auxiliary areas of production facilities, including wastewater operations.
Use a variety of tools like hydraulic presses, drill presses, and pipe threaders.
Assist in repairing powered industrial trucks and maintaining HVAC equipment.
Adhere to all facility PPE requirements, Food Safety GMP’s, and facility rules.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Pre-Employment Requirements: Approved drug test and background screenings
Experience: At least 3 years as a mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills: Proficiency with mechanical (pumps, motors, valves, pneumatics, hydraulics) and electrical (VFD’s, 480VAC – three-phase motor wiring) systems.
Physical Stamina: Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, stretch for extended periods, and lift/carry heavy items.
Flexibility: Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and off-shift hours in an environment with extreme temperatures and loud equipment.
Safety Conscious: Commitment to wearing steel-toe boots and following all safety protocols.

Pay Details: $38.00 per hour
