Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning units
- Perform mechanical and electrical work on HVAC equipment
- Weld and solder components as needed
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems
-Great attitude and communication skills. Ability to speak directly to clients and maintain customer satisfaction -Repair, overhaul, start-up and service commercial HVAC systems.
- Drive a company van to various job sites for installations and repairs -Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files. Keeps current all manufacturers products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
Experience:
- Previous experience as an HVAC installer or mechanic is required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and skills are necessary for this role
- Ability to perform equipment repairs and maintenance
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems and their components -Knowledge in installing Refrigerant Line Sets and minor pipe repair. Ability to vacuum down, charge and reclaim from refrigerant line sets per the manufacturers’ requirements -Knowledge in installing low voltage thermostat wire and comm wire for VRF. Knowledge in installing line voltage wire including conduit work. - Must have a clean driving record -Valid driver's license -EPA Certification
