Position: HVAC Service Technician
Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay: $26/hour
Experience:
- 5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician, preferably in a residential and/or commercial setting.
- Experience with compressors, condensers, commercial and apartment complexes.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in HVAC systems is preferred.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Must be able to work OT and be on-call as needed)
Greene Resources is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Inspect, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Diagnose HVAC system issues and troubleshoot problems to identify the root cause.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components using hand tools and specialized equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide recommendations and solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC systems.
Position Requirements:
- Valid HVAC technician license or certification (if required in your jurisdiction).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Possess your own tools for the job (preferred).
