Join our dynamic team as a Health Agent Call Center Representative, where you'll play a crucial role in assisting clients with health insurance enrollment and government subsidy applications under the Affordable Care Act. Most of our clients qualify for a 100% no cost health insurance plan subsidized by the federal government. No prior sales or health insurance experience is required – we're looking for individuals who are dedicated to helping clients find the best insurance plans tailored to their needs.
About the role
- No sales or health insurance experience is needed!
- This is a high-volume role where you will provide outbound outreach to warm prospects (no cold calling).
- Guide clients through the health insurance enrollment process and help them apply for government subsidies under the Affordable Care Act.
- Match clients with the most suitable insurance plans based on their individual needs.
- Articulate the plans and uncover all necessary information to complete the application.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive overall experience.
- Communicate effectively with clients through written channels, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Work hours: Monday - Friday. 8:45am - 5:30pm Central Time.
- 1 work-from-home night shift is required on the last day of each month from 7pm to 11pm to ensure all policies are in effect before the 1st of the following month. This is followed by a team half-day to celebrate!
- 1 work-from-home day each week (after training is completed).
About You
- Must obtain Texas health insurance license prior to starting (Reimbursed via starting bonus).
- Complete a comprehensive ~20-hour online training course.
- Pass the online state exam (Up to 2 attempts allowed).
- GetScale will reimburse for training course, study time and state exam in the form of a $1000 starting bonus on the first paycheck.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check.
- Coachable – you are the type of person who loves feedback.
- Detail oriented and enjoy helping people.
- Comfortable with written communication to clients and sales conversations over the phone.
About the Compensation and Benefits
- Total expected cash compensation (base salary + commission) = $40,000 - $62,000+/year
- On-track commission = $19,200 - $41,200+/year
- Base salary = $20,800/year
