Service Manager- Commercial HVAC
Salary- $110,000+ Bonus incentives

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to join our team. The Service Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing service operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Schedules, directs, and provides technical support for HVAC technicians to meet service demands and customer expectations.
- Supervises and directs HVAC technicians to effectively perform the functions of equipment repair, installation, start-up, operation, and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reviews technicians’ work to ensure quality meets established standards, techniques, and safety requirements; makes recommendations as required to improve quality and productivity.
- Responsible for HVAC technicians’ performance appraisals and reviews and for setting improvement goals per company requirements.
- Establishes and maintains regular training programs to ensure HVAC technicians are properly trained on latest service techniques and safety procedures for equipment and general working conditions.
- Communicates regularly with dispatch to ensure personnel are being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency, and training requirements; estimated time to complete jobs; labor hours; and parts or materials used.
- Reviews work orders and time reports for accuracy.
- Ensures all company/departmental policies are being followed by all HVAC technicians.
- Generates sales leads, estimates, and bids for contract projects/work.
- Manages larger installation and start-up projects; coordinates and directs a team of technicians and/or contractors; performs pre-start-up inspections and completes turnover of equipment to owner.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in service management within HVAC/R or related industries.
- Proficiency in equipment repair, design, and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in schematics interpretation.
- Ability to lead a team effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
